Rowan Tan
Photography has been and continues to be, an extraordinary personal journey for me, not just in art but an experience that I take with me on my travels. It helps me appreciate the world, life, art and people in many different ways which, greatly surprises me.
I have more to learn about photography and the art of processing my images. I have learned that photography, as in art, is personal and that I need to do it for myself.
I have decided to make a start and launch my website in 2020 which Covid-19 has made this, a very special year for all of us. We will always remember this year but I want this to also be a year that something positive has emerged. For me, working on this website has finally pushed me forward with my work.
I have not travelled alone on my photographic journey - I have met many who have greatly supported, taught and encouraged me to grow. I plan to travel more to see and capture the world and continue to meet more amazing people.
Thank you to those who have taken the time to teach and support me on this journey! It’s been a lot of fun.
